Scratch-off foils and labels

Optaglio offers a wide range of products designed to offer enhanced protection over non holographic products. The main application of Optaglio scratch-off products is for protection of PIN numbers on pre-pay telephone cards as well as on a wider variety of applications which include IDSN cards or PIN numbers provided by banks and other financial institutions.

High level of tamper-evidence, scrathability, high speed application and outstanding opacity make Optaglio scratch off products the right choice for protecting data which should stay hidden until the last moment.

Scratch-off foils

Optaglio standard and high opacity scratch-off foils can be supplied in narrow width (8-10mm) medium width (50mm) and wide widrth (610mm) making them suitable for application with Atlantic Zeiser, Nimax or Test Innovation type machines.

The holographic surface scatters light from the protected surface making it very difficult to read the underlying data (PIN) using reflective techniquers. In addition to the holographic surface a series of coatings are applied to enhance the security of the product. These coatings allow for the foil to have a high level of opacity making backlight reading of the protected data very difficult.

High opacity scratch-off foils for high demanding applications present the highest opacity standard and resists almost all attempts to attack. In addition to the standard dense black coating, the high opacity scratch-off foils include an extra covert layer. This makes it a suitable solution for high demanding applications.

Scratch-off labels

Optaglio scratch-off labels can be supplied on single (1 up) or multiple (2, 3, 4 or 5 up) format. The labels are produced with a range of security devices to protect the underlying data (PIN) which include: holographic device, security cuts, strong adhesive and dense black scratch-off coating.

High frangible scratch-off labels are constructed using a highly frangible laminate material. This product is very difficult to remove using standard techniques and performs well in the razor blade test.
